  • The content we generate for you is yours to use. The platform itself and its underlying methodology remain ours.
  • Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • We can suspend accounts that violate these rules.
  • Pro-tier subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

4. Disclaimers about recommendations

What Next AI produces guidance, not guarantees.

  • Career recommendations are based on your inputs + published data + a proprietary composite scoring system. The system's exact weights and formulas are documented on the methodology page.
  • Salary numbers reflect historical medians and percentiles from government + industry sources. Your actual earnings depend on many factors we can't observe (skill, negotiation, geography, luck).
  • College admissions probabilities are estimates based on published admit rates + your profile. We can't predict individual admissions decisions.
  • The AI chatbot can be wrong. Always verify medical, legal, or financial advice with a qualified professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for career, financial, educational, or life decisions you make based on the platform's output. Use good judgement and don't outsource your life to an AI.

5. Intellectual property

  • Your data (assessments, resume, profile, journal entries) belongs to you.
  • Your reports and outputs are yours to use however you want.
  • The platform itself, its code, methodology, and design remain ours.
  • The underlying psychometric instruments (Holland, Big-5, MBTI, etc.) belong to their respective owners. We use them under research/educational-use provisions.

6. Prohibited uses

  • Impersonating another person
  • Uploading someone else's resume or personal data without their consent
  • Scraping the platform beyond normal browser usage
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract our proprietary scoring logic
  • Circumventing paywalls or free-tier limits
  • Using the platform to create derivative career-guidance products without a licence
  • Uploading content that's illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates third-party rights

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account any time from the Account page. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation requires immediate action.

Upon termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If you're a consumer in the EU or elsewhere with local consumer-protection rights, those rights are not affected by this clause.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
