The rules
Attempts
Each purchase includes exactly one exam attempt. If you don't pass, you can buy another attempt and start it straight away. The result is pass or fail, with "meets" or "needs work" for each section; the score itself isn't shown.
Elite members get one attempt at each level every 12 months, with the course included.
The certificate
It shows your name, the level, the edition year (2026 edition), the date and a certificate ID. It doesn't expire. The verification page says whether it's valid, and says "Identity checked at exam start" only when that check matched.
What this certificate is, and isn't
- It's issued by WhatTNext AI. It isn't accredited, licensed or endorsed by any government, university or industry body.
- The exam is assessed online. It isn't proctored: the optional webcam identity check deters impersonation, but it can't see help given off-camera.
- The exam guides say which public frameworks each level is aligned to (for example UNESCO's AI competency frameworks, the EU AI Act's AI-literacy duty, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and India's DPDP Act 2023). "Aligned to" means we used them to plan the syllabus, not that they endorse it.
- Questions are written and reviewed by us, every fact is sourced, and the content is reviewed every six months.
- The course and the exam are in English for now.
