NIFT Entrance Examination (B.Des / B.F.Tech)

NIFT's entrance test admits students to its B.Des and B.F.Tech programmes across its campuses. B.Des candidates also take a situation test after the written paper.

Who can apply

From the 2026 bulletin (the latest we hold) — rules can change; check the new bulletin.
  • Under 24 on 1 August of the admission year (5 years' relaxation for SC/ST/PwD).
  • B.Des: Class 12 in any stream (NIOS with 5 subjects accepted).
  • B.F.Tech: Class 12 with Mathematics, or an engineering diploma.
